Successful appeal for donations to restore the stained glass windows of St Césaire Church

30 September 2025 | Actuality, Our projects

A year ago, the Jacques Martel Foundation and the Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne Town Council launched an appeal for donations to restore the stained-glass windows of Saint Césaire Church. This 18th-century building, the true heart of the village, is deeply loved by many, as you have shown.

One year later, we are delighted to announce the success of this initiative: 100% of the target has been achieved, thanks to you.

As a reminder, the Jacques Martel Foundation had pledged to double donations up to €20,000. More than €45,000 was donated to the municipality of Saint-Cézaire sur Siagne.

🙏 A big thank you to all the donors and supporters who have accompanied this project.

Through this success, the Jacques Martel Foundation reaffirms its commitment to promoting, preserving and passing on the richness of local heritage. The success of this ‘Opération patrimoni a San Cezari’ is therefore a source of huge pride.

Clôture Mécénat territorial - Fonds Jacques MartelA final meeting took place on Saturday 20 September in Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne: a select few were able to take part in a guided tour of the church, accompanied by Luc Tissot, who is in charge of the restoration project.

It was a moment at the crossroads of history, heritage and sharing, for which we thank him warmly.

What now?

Work is scheduled to begin in November. Some stained-glass windows, which were in danger of falling, have already been removed.

We will share regular updates and, like you, are eager to see the restored building.
