A look back at the first year of our partnership with Sens Solidaires!

12 September 2024 | Actuality, Our actions

For Sens Solidaires, the co-financing provided by the Jacques Martel Foundation has enabled pupils, teaching staff and the association to send letters to Senegal, hold conferences and organise two outings to the Roure arboretum on the theme of preserving water and preventing erosion through reforestation.

The Jacques Martel Foundation has followed all of these stages and has been delighted to physically accompany some of them.

This partnership is in line with our mission “To protect marine resources”, and links in with our interest in supporting education for young people. We believe that raising awareness of social and/or environmental issues is the best way to achieve impact. This particular project targets secondary school pupils.

And because a picture is worth a thousand words, we invite you to watch the documentary produced by the NGO Sens Solidaires, which looks back at the whole project over a whole year: Project “At the source of the future”.

One more photo to finish: there is now a tree from the Jacques Martel Foundation at the Roure arboretum, and we’re very proud of it.

Many thanks to the whole Sens Solidaires team!
