Combating plastic & protecting marine resources

23 April 2024 | Our actions

To mark Earth Day on 22 April, the association No Plastic In My Sea, of which the Jacques Martel Foundation is a partner, launched the “Objective Zero Plastic Bottles” website.

It offers :

– 180 alternatives to plastic bottles

– a map of 20,000 water sources for plastic-free drinking

– practical resources (signs, tap water quality, etc.)

– a counter for bottles and C02 emissions avoided…

The aim is to help consumers, tourists and professionals move towards plastic-free hydration and support the French law, which calls for a 50% reduction in the use of bottles by 2030.

We feel it is important to support this objective, as part of the Foundation’s mission to protect marine resources.

We are therefore delighted to have been able to support this project and invite all our readers to discover the site and its solutions https://objectifzerobouteilleplastique.org.
