The 2nd edition of the Jacques Martel Foundation’s charity evening was a resounding success, bringing together 150 generous donors around the theme of supporting children.
The evening took place at Maison Adrien, adding a symbolic touch to the event. The place “Maison Adrien” is a holiday center dedicated to caring for sick children and their families, which opened its doors a year ago. Thank you for welcoming us for the evening!
During the evening, donors, friends and families had the chance to sample a bistronomic menu meticulously prepared by the International Club “Les Toques Blanches”. This group of renowned chefs did us the real pleasure of serving refined dishes that reflected the tastes of our region. We would also like to extend our warmest thanks to the association Les Apprentis d’Auteuil, which orchestrated the service with the help of committed student trainees.
In general, we would like to express our deep gratitude to our many partners, who made this evening possible: Saint Cézaire sur Siagne for lending us equipment, Super U Plascassier for donating raw materials, several local businesses and artisans (Balicco, Event Rent, Bloom Fleurs, La parfumotec…), as well as the artists who accompanied the evening: the Groovement for the music and Djiango for the live painting. The list goes on and on, showing the power of working together.
Thanks to this support and the generosity of the participants, the Jacques Martel Foundation was able to raise €47,500, to which were added €8,500 in pledges made during the evening.
These substantial donations went to the four charities that were the stars of the evening:
- The Adrien association
- The LEA association
- The Lire et Faire Lire association
- The Des Enfants et des Arbres association
4 associations dedicated to the cause of children, which we subjected to the Pitch exercise. In just 3 minutes, the spokespersons presented their association’s objectives and flagship projects to all the guests. A lot of emotion!
On behalf of the Jacques Martel Foundation and the associations, we would like to extend our warmest thanks to the evening’s sponsorship partners: Floral Concept, CG Finance, Nutridry, Azur Provence construction, Sullivan’S, Advance Emploi, Vatron-Mau, Société Générale, Derichebourg, SaccofPackaging, as well as all the individual sponsors, for their generosity!
4 cheques for €10,000 were presented to the 4 associations, as well as 2 cheques for €3,500 to Toques Blanches and Apprentis d’Auteuil respectively.
The exchanges with the associations were also very rich on a human level, as they gave rise to new volunteer vocations. We’re delighted.
Finally, the Jacques Martel Foundation is immensely pleased and proud to know that the donations collected and the contacts made will contribute directly to concrete projects that will have a real impact on the well-being and development of children. Together, we have demonstrated once again that solidarity and commitment can make a real difference.
Thank you all for your invaluable support!
